OOPs! just another tower of Babel

Why do I always get Obama idiot emails and old age joke stuff in my online mailbox?  I would just like to scream when I have to go through 218 emails to have to delete. I really do not have the stomach or heart for all that political crap. Old age email jokes really make me puke.

I now know the reason that the tower of Babel did not work out. I am sure there is a formula that computes the numbers of individuals in a group increases is directly proportionate to the difficulty in making a decision or reaching a conclusion.  The world is arriving to the point in which, “information and language” are universal.  The entire world has instantaneous access to current events by way of sounds and images.  Everyday families come home from school or work, turn on the evening news, and get a birds eye view of the world.  Is it not strange that on every channel there is a repeat of the same exact stories?  Oh sure there is some slight variance but channel after channel just repeats the same stories more or less. Is this our times tower of Babel that God will once again have to destroy? On the other hand, does it mean that the human species is so mundane and predictable that the media moguls already know what to tell the public to keep them complacent and disinterested in politics and decision making on a community level?

Just a few years ago, I started questioning the philosophy and teachings from my professors and evening news commentators.  I grew up in a conservative, Christian home whose family was staunch democrats.  I never heard of the word liberal, right or leftist.  I had no idea that there were actually people who could consider the idea that there was no God.  My family was poor and we struggled with our finances. My mom was a strong willed woman outspoken.  She threw my dad out of the house because of his, “drinking problem,” which caused them to fight all of the time.

I just wanted to party and escape from the rigors of pain and suffering after I graduated from high school.  I got a job and made a good living.  I wanted to have the family and the American dream.  Everything fell apart after ten years and I had to start over.  I had to rethink my dream.  Now I am too old to take up surfing and two young to take up knitting.  Life is passing me by and I need to get a better retirement plan.  I am watching my IRA eroding away and my “significant other” getting older to.

What scary time lies ahead?

What scary time lies ahead?  This weekend brings out the ghosts, goblins, zombies and freaks so just beware.  This freek is going to spend the weekend by watching a new movie and thinking about how to spend the rest of my days.   The sun light is tilting back to the south and moving away from the equinox. 

Speaking of the movies, last night I went to see N Time the new movie release this weekend.  The plot was a bit weak and slow at times.  It replaced money with time, a sort of new monetary system.  The only problem is that how they were able to stop the aging process at twenty-five.  It was a social commentary about the inequality between the ghetto and wealthy.  Greenwich was where the elite and the aristocracy could aspire to greatness and always have lots of time because they were untouched by inflation and the mundane.

politicians and feathers on chickens

I just got home from my two day adventure in Monterrey Bay and Peninsula.  The best line I heard was lying to a politician is like chickens having feathers.  They all lie.  What kind of chance do we have if the age old saying is all politicians lie. How in the world are we ever going to dig our way out of this mess?  So you may say, what mess?  This is just the way life IS.  So I say be in the world and not of the world. Heaven help us.

A fair fight.

     I think that the libs don't fight fair.  Guess what happened every day when Bush was CiC the guys in ABC, NBC, CBS noted the number of deaths in the Iraq war.  Now they make up excusses why Obama is not to blame. Then ever wander why a democrat war is a "good war,"  and every republican war is a "BAD war."  Do the research and go back all the way to Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter.  I wish I had a better choice between one or the other.  I was raised as an American with the idea of land of the brave.  I'll be damned if I am going to buy the concept that Americans are racist and now owe the world its due.  Like we were the ones to take away their freedoms and prosperity.

Planet Earth and I am a prisoner on it.  No chance of escape.  We are all trapped here, the powers that be have no intentions to let us out. Get used to it earthling.  America was our last bastion of hope.  We are the new world and created this United States Constitution and now they all want to dismantle it.  Keep a sharp look out for the enemy within.
