We Are in the age of Cultureal Narcissism

While I was studying for MFT,  I read Marriage Evaluation and Treatment by Guerin, et al., 1987.  In the book it mentions this is the age of cultural narcissism.  Now the government media complex is blaming Edward Snowden for just that type of personality.  I would suggest that you do not follow lock step with this crowd.  I wish that I could know what this man's motivation.  The entire story wreaks of suspicion.  Critics claim he is playing this to be the center of attention.  If I had information that would blow the current admission lid off and why would he go to China?  He seeks asylum in Hong Kong.  If anyone knows more please reply
